Lema, the Company and its History

Founded in the 1930 by Angelo Meroni, with the opening of a small workshop in Brianza. Specialising in the manufacturing of handcrafted furniture products.

The turning point came with the generation change of the sons. By developing a new type of business through industrial production and opening a shop in the centre of Milan in the 1970s.

The Lema headquarter is concentrated in 55,000 square metres of floor space occupied by the production facilities in Alzate Brianza and Gussano. The space, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti counts a staff of over 200 employees. It is positioned among the Italian excellences in the world.
