Giorgetti, the Company and its History 

The origins of the company date back to the end of the nineteenth century, in a peasant context in the countryside of Meda, a small town in Brianza located north of Milan. The handicraft activity deeply linked to the territory, is due to the presence of the Benedictine monastery founded in the eighth century. It was often the site of important meetings and guests such as Emperor Henry IV.
This condition made the industriousness of the nuns, the starting point for the realization of more and more valuable and quality furniture. The real turning point came at the turn of the twentieth century, when Meda established itself as a new center of furniture.
