From the idea of Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, Cattelan Italia was born in 1979 near Vicenza. The initial proposal of tables of different sizes designed for the foreign market and the creation of furnishing complements. Featured by the presence of marble, constitute the first step of a tradition that continues to this day.

Growing market demand leads in 1989 to expand the collections, including other items for the living area, such as bookcases dining tables and chairs. Composed of materials that are always innovative, such as glass, leather and metal. The various collections follow the trends of the moment, becoming icons of Made in Italy style, on the international scene.

The acquisition of Arketipo in 2011 by the Cattelan Italia group, introduced the company to the world of designer upholstered furniture, giving prestigious refinement to its products.
